- A tennis ball cricket tournament organized in 6 cities parallely.
- 36 teams in each city participated in a league cum knockout format.
- The event was sponsored by Gillette whereas Radio Mirchi & IBN 7 were the media partners.
- Nasik, Aurangabad, Mangalore, Nagpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Indore, Bhopal, Baroda, Surat.
- After the overwhelming response for Gillette Mirchi Gully Cricket in 2007, the sponsors decided to initiate the same activity in 2008.
- A Gillette Mirchi team was selected through open selection trials and 4 more teams were invited to challenge the Gillette Mirchi team.
- The event was successfully executed in all the 10 cities.
